Fundamental Elements
Architecture and graphic design share fundamental principles of composition, proportion, structure and spatial organisation.
As in architecture, form and space are the fundamental elements of graphic design.
Composition is the basic architectural structure of graphic design. It defines a space within which visual elements are arranged. Their proportions relative to one another, their positions within the composition and their spatial relationships determine its structure.
